Profile Data Analyzed

When you click the extension icon on a Facebook profile, the extension temporarily reads publicly visible information such as:

• Profile name
• Friend count (if visible)
• Follower count (if visible)
• Profile URL structure
• Visible post count
• Profile completeness indicators

Important: This data is:

• Only read from the current page you're viewing
• Processed entirely within your browser
• Never stored permanently
• Never transmitted to any external servers
• Cleared when you close the extension popup

2. How We Use Information

The extension uses the temporarily collected profile data solely to:

• Calculate an authenticity score
• Identify potential red flags
• Display analysis results to you
• Generate a text report if you click "Copy Report"

That's it. We don't use it for anything else.

What We Store

The extension uses temporary browser memory (RAM) to:

This data is automatically cleared when:

• You close the extension popup
• You navigate away from the page

4. Data Sharing

We share ZERO data with anyone.

Because we don't collect or store data, there's nothing to share. We do not:

Exception: If you manually click "Copy Report," the report is copied to your clipboard for you to paste wherever you choose. This is entirely under your control.

"activeTab" Permission

"storage" Permission

Used for: Enabling the "Re-analyze" button and caching results during your session.

"scripting" Permission

Why: To inject our content script that reads the page.

Used for: Extracting profile information from the Facebook page.

Host Permission: "*://*.facebook.com/*"

Why: To function only on Facebook pages.

Used for: Ensuring the extension works where intended and nowhere else.

Important: We request the minimum permissions necessary. We do NOT have permission to:

• Access your Facebook password or login
• Post on your behalf
• Send messages
• Access your browsing history
• Access pages outside Facebook

7. Security

Because all processing happens locally in your browser:

8. Children's Privacy
